Latest news about our properties and around Reunion
Updates include:
(Summer 16) - XBox One with games
We love the new console and so will kids (young and old)
(Spring 16) - New decor items
As you may know, we're both designers, so have added new wall art, lamps and more - and we'll keep on improving as we go!
(Summer 15) - New grill, planting, lighting
Our outisde space received a nice update - for those of you who don't know, we now have neighbours both sides and across the road. That means there's no chance of building close by! - and our corner looks so much better now. More good news is that the homes are rarely occupied and of course, we have our precious corner lot which means you have one of Reunion's most private rear aspects. But to make sure that our privacy is retained, we added not only summer curtains to the lanai, we added new palms, planting and even some solar lighting.
To further enjoy our BBQ area properly, we replaced the KitchenAid BBQ with an upgraded Weber stainless steel version.
As you may already be aware, our pool was re-lined, we've updated our pool lighting and re-designed the grill area.
3 bed condo
Updates include:
(Summer 16) - New XBox One / GPS
To match our villa, we're installing an XBox One to upgrade from the XBox360. As per our DVDs, we have a small library of games to select from. We have been increasing our 3D movie library too. Also our complimentary GPS is being swapped for a newer model with lifetime map updates
(Late 2015) Exterior repaint, solar deck lamps, new decor inside
We're always keen to ensure our places are kept up to date, so we've added lovely new lighting on our terrace and inside we've added new mirrors, lighting and more.
We're keen to make the most of our fantastic south facing terrace, as it's sutprisingly private. And to enjoy days out, you can feel free to borrow our gravity loungers and wheeled cool box too - great for a trip to the beach!
Reunion Resort
News & features
Orlando's finest vacation resort
As you know, Reunion Resort is the perfect place to enjoy "days off" from the theme parks! With eleven free to use heated pools, including a kid's activity pool, it's perfect for a swim…or if you prefer a more relaxed water activity, take in one of seven hot tubs, all dotted around the resort, so there's usually one close by.
The pool and spa at Centre Court Ridge is literally a couple of minutes walk from our condo but it's a great idea to try out some of the others and you're spoiled for choice! - how about the top floor at Eleven, with sweeping views of Disney? Or the pool where you're almost guaranteed to have it to yourselves at Gathering Loop in Homestead?
If you're hungry, our favourite spot is the sushi bar in the lobby at Reunion Grande. Chef Ha serves great value dishes and for those who prefer more Eurpoean flavours, they also serve flatbreads and other dishes from Forte next door.
The land is cleared for a new Nicklaus course clubhouse and work is scheduled to start any day on the West Side. Most of Reunion's pools and spa tubs have now been re-lined and look fresh and new.
Until September 5, take advantage of the Kids' Eat Free Breakfast promotion - for every paid adult meal, a child gets their own. Sweet!
Jeeves and some added extras
If you're staying with us in the next few months, you may well have contact at some point with our excellent management team at Jeeves. They now have offices just across from Reunion's main entrance, so feel free to call in.
Also, Jeeves - and us - are now affiliated with Disney's vacation rental home connection and as well as their VIP tours and more, remember to ask them about discounted theme park tickets.
And for the next few months, they are able to get $10 day passes to the Encore club waterpark next door to Reunion. There's a nice clubhouse (below) and some exciting looking waterslides as well as a pool. Whilst the resort is under development Jeeves have exclusive access for our guests - you may even have it to yourselves!. Just ask and enjoy!

news from walt's world & more
Disney's big news - where to start? First of all, what was once Downtown Disney, now Disney Springs, has finally finished a huge update and added lots of new restaurants, shops, parking and more. It is definitely worth checking out. There are still some details to be finished but it's a huge difference to the old Downtown Disney.
The Star Wars ride has had a complete refresh in Hollywood Studios - this is just the beginning of a whole new Star Wars land coming in the future. And Toy Story Land is rumoured to be under construction too. Mickey's Sorcerer's Apprentice hat is gone…
In Epcot, the new Frozen Ever After ride has opened in the Norway pavilion (remember to FastPass!), Soarin' now has three theatres including the original California ride. We always enjoy the Epcot Food and Wine Festival and it's dates are from September 14 - November 14 this year. Look out for big changes coming to Future World - some time in the future!
In the Animal Kingdom, the opening hours have now been extended into the evenings and even include a Kilimanjaro Night Safari. Pandora, the World of Avatar is scheduled to open in 2017.
At Universal Studios, Harry Potter is still the star attraction and is continuing to expand with Escape from Gringotts being the hot ticket ride. But it's not all Harry Potter. There are lots of great rides at Universal, including the newer ones such as Transformers 3D and more. For thrills and spills, the Rip Ride Rocket and The Incredible Hulk are hard to beat. We hear the new King Kong "Skull Island" ride is scary good too!
Anyway, as they say in the movies, That's all Folks!
